I’m here to talk personal branding, and share thoughts, ideas, resources and great examples to help you know and show the best you have to offer.  

I’ve been helping people brand themselves and their businesses for years – it’s a passion of mine.  I love helping people that I believe in (usually entrepreneurial friends) clarify who they are, what they want their business to be, and how to best communicate that. Found that I love it so much (also have a relevant background for it and am good at it, if I do say so m’self) that I decided to make it my business. 

When I tell people I do personal branding, the next thing I usually hear is some variation of, “Cool… What does that mean?”  So here’s the way I like to think about it:  It’s about getting in touch with who you are authentically and what you want professionally, discovering your unique brand attributes/differentiators, determining your target markets, then implementing a smart strategy to reach them with your brand.

In other words, figuring out what makes you special and telling folks about it.

So that’s what I do.  Specifically with a focus on entrepreneurs.  Why?  Because I love you!!!  I love that you’re willing to take risks, to put it all on the line to pursue your vision. 

It’s not that I have anything against the job seekers and executives who are working to brand themselves.  It’s a competitive world out there and you’re smart to do it.  Ideally, this blog and the resources I’ll be pulling together can help you, too. 

But my focus will be on helping entrepreneurs enhance their business and their life goals through personal branding. Because in many ways, you are your business and your business is you.
